Do cameras record to the cloud or on-site?
UniFi Protect records to an on-site recorder, so there are no per-camera monthly cloud fees — with secure remote viewing from your phone whenever you need it.
Can you really alert us to leaks and fire?
Yes — we deploy water-leak, smoke and temperature sensors that alert your team in real time. For life-safety fire-alarm monitoring you'll still want a licensed alarm company, but our sensors catch the problems those systems miss — like a server-room AC failure or a slow leak.
Can it work with our existing doors and cameras?
Usually, yes. UniFi Access works with standard electric strikes and maglocks, and we'll assess any existing cameras. Where it makes sense we standardize on UniFi so everything lives in one place.
